PVC panels are one of the newest building materials that has entered the market instead of expensive materials. These panels are highly resistant to moisture and corrosion and can be used in the exterior of the building, and having a very long service life, eliminates the need to spend money to repair and renovate the walls. PVC sheets are a commonly used plastic with a chemical compound consist of polyvinyl chloride and can easily compete with wood and clay. The plates can be engraved, embossed, printed, colored and laminated according to user requirements.
These panels are adjustable and can be easily installed horizontally or vertically at any angle on a variety of available surfaces such as tiles. Due to the presence of contaminants such as dust and moisture inside or outside the building, it is necessary to create antibacterial properties on the surface of the facade. Preventing the surface of these materials from being contaminated by microbes can be achieved by using an active antibacterial agent such as nanoparticles within their structure or applying antibacterial coatings. Nanoparticles react with the bacterial outer membrane, causing structural changes inside the bacterium and eventually destroying it.
